The Adyar

The Adyar is a use to be river that runs through Chennai. Today it is used as a dumping ground for trash, chemicals, human crap, animal crap and every other form of crap you could imagine. The photo above is of a lady standing next to a wall that separates this stinky, filthy, disgusting, polluted want to be a river, from a housing project. Kids play in this water, clothes are washed in this water. This was shot early in the morning as a least 5 men take a number two in front of her..There are no plans in the future for this nose sore..Good morning Chennai..So check out the slide show of this nasty river..
